I Met A Real Blogger!

Today I went and met Morgetron, for the exchanging of my prize that I won in her contest for my rescued copy of Machiavelli's The Prince. Good trade, so far as I was concerned. Morgetron herself was wonderfully delightful and patient with my shy and introverted ass. I actually started to say something meaningful towards the end, too! That's always a plus.

It's strange seeing someone I only knew as an abstraction on my screen, even if her blog is chock full of pictures and videos and whatnot. It seems very unreal to take this concept that you have and turn it into a living breathing person. Not bad, but kind of unsettling in that good gestalt-altering sort of way.

Anywho, this is just a check in to say that I'm not sure what's going on in the next little while, but I'm hoping to get back to work soon on editing, and hopefully blogging semi-regularly. A couple of topics I have slated to be writing sometime in the next week or so, just to make sure that I do:

  • on wanting to indulge in poet-thought
  • on schooling, degrees, and self-education
  • blogging, two months later

See you on the other side.

Yay! We're real people! I just posted about our meeting too.

A little late, but you won't be disappointed. I will direct them to your blog for the truth.
